Club 36

Club 36 is the Adult Day Program of the Alzheimer Society of Calgary. It's a safe, homelike environment where people with dementia can engage in activities, make new friends, and make their own choices.

Why consider an Adult Day Program?

When the person you care for is at Club 36, you can take a break from your caregiving duties and focus on caring for yourself or catching up on any other tasks that require your attention.

Our team of specialists is well-trained in dementia care and upholds the rights of every person with dementia in our care to be:

  • treated as an individual with dignity and respect
  • in an environment designed for an individual’s abilities and interests
  • involved in work and play for as long as possible
  • with people who know and understand one’s life story, including family, cultural and religious traditions
  • outdoors regularly
  • able to have physical contact, including hand-holding and hugging, based on individual comfort and needs
  • cared for by people engaged in ongoing training in dementia care
