Become a volunteer

The relationship between a volunteer and an organization is built on a foundation of mutual respect and we believe both parties should benefit from working together. We strive to create this balance and acknowledge the tremendous contribution of our volunteers to community initiatives.

How do I get started?

You will need to complete a volunteer application form and sign a general waiver.

Depending on the volunteer role, you may need to complete interviews, supply references, get police security clearance and sign a confidentiality agreement.

To ensure you have the skills and knowledge to succeed, we provides training for some volunteer positions.

Frequently asked questions

  1. I’d like to volunteer but I have limited time. Can I still make a difference?
Volunteer opportunities range from small time commitments to more substantial commitments. Regardless of the amount of time you're able to contribute, every volunteer opportunity makes a difference to the people we serve.

  2. If you contact me about an available volunteer job and it doesn’t work for me, will I still be considered for future opportunities?
Our goal is to make you aware of what is happening and offer you the choice to join in the fun. We respect that our volunteers are also busy people.
